Answer: No, John Cena was never a real Marine and he was never actually in the Military. John Cena simply played a Marine in a movie. His military salutes during his ring entrances are just a part of his gimmick.
I know this is old, but we'd never accept him. He's too damn big and would exceed the weight standards. lol I've met him during the premiere of the movie on base at Camp Pendleton. Not quite sure what his MOS would have been. He has a good head on his shoulders. Definitely something physical though, but nothing too laboring like Supply or Mechanic.
John cena was in fact in the marine for a while...but he was never in the front run..thats the reason people say and think he never has been in the army..
